Q. Weekly delivery is your only option, do I have to get a box every week?
No, you do not need to receive weekly boxes. You have TOTAL CONTROL over your own deliveries. Once you’re signed up, you can log into your member dashboard and under ‘upcoming deliveries’ you can skip all the deliveries you need. As long as you’re in control of your deliveries you can set it however you want. You are only charged when you have a scheduled delivery.
Q. Where do we source our produce from?
Santa Barbara county is blessed with an exceptional growing climate and talented organic growers. Most of our produce is local and we source it from farms in Santa Barbara and Ventura county. However, in order to put together an awesome box we get produce from all over California. We guarantee your produce is always fresh and 100% certified organic. Learn more about or farmers HERE
Q. What do I do with my empty box?
Re-using our boxes is the responsible thing to do and it helps keep our overhead low, which translates into keeping our prices low for you. In order to do this effectively, the boxes need to be returned. We encourage our members to bring their own bag when they pick up their produce and to leave the box at the site. Q. What if I don’t like what’s coming in my farm box?
We do our best to provide awesome, simple recipes to help you like all different kinds of fruits and vegetables. We stay away from any super weird or uncommon items and try to streamline it to the basics. But if you seriously hate kale, shoot us an email and we’ll do our best to make adjustments. If you want absolute control of your farm box, we suggest signing up for a customized farm box!
Q. What if I forget to pickup my farm box?
Forgetting just happens, we all do it. You can call your drop sites phone number to see if they still have your farm box. You may get lucky and it might still be there after drop time hours! However, Farm Cart Organics is not responsible for forgotten boxes and your box may be donated after hours.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
There is no cancellation policy! We understand that things change. You can cancel anytime from your account by removing your box under ‘recurring items’
